Marston House B & B and Cottage in Maine

Voted one of the "Top 10 places to stay in Maine".
~The Guardian

Since 1987, The Marston House has offered two simply beautiful bed and breakfast rooms in The Carriage House located behind our antique shop and home.

We painted, furnished and began offering "The Cottage" on Middle Street for seasonal rentals in 2010.

This eighteenth century village of Wiscasset, located on the Sheepscot River and listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, has an abundance of 18th and early 19th century houses and important public buildings including the Lincoln County Courthouse and the Customs House on the harbor. The Wiscasset harbor is within a few minutes walk from anywhere in the Village. The "Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities" owns the Nichols Sortwell House on Main Street and The Castle Tucker on High Street.

The Mid-Coast of Maine is beautiful with a wealth of cultural and recreational activities. Within a 30 minute drive you can catch a boat or ferry ride to one of the many islands off the coast of Maine, take sightseeing and wildlife trips on the water or go deep sea fishing. Kayak or bicycle rental is also available.

Wiscasset is the Antique Center of Maine. There are more than 20 antique dealers in Wiscasset representing the full range from primitive to formal, domestic and imported.
