Reviews From Some Of Our Guests:
My wife and I were guests at both the Bed and Breakfast and the Cottage at The Marston House recently.
Arriving in Wiscasset, we were so excited to settle down for a nice vacation away from the city and find some solstice in one of the most charming villages in Maine. I cannot recommend this place more highly to anyone who might be considering a stay. The owners were absolutely impeccable; they were extremely kind, helpful to any concerns we had, recommended places to go and see and were contactable had we needed to reach them. With a discerning eye for interior design and comfortable living arrangements, the beautiful linens, the integration of French countryside living, my wife and I were treated like royalty. We couldn't have been any happier for our stay in a clean and inviting place like this. It was central for everything in Wiscasset and beyond; accessible to farmers markets, great walks and hikes and flea markets and of course, the summer blueberries! The Bed and Breakfast had a wonderful fireplace, clean white walls and a bed worthy of a soft cloud of dreams. Shower pressure was amazing and a meticulously clean bathroom. The Cottage had ample room, closet space (for all those who pack heavily), a nice kitchen with a dishwasher and amenities as well as a recently new oven/range. Like the Bed and Breakfast, the bathrooms and everything about the place was beautifully designed and very inviting and clean. The owners have done a great job making this place feel like you can just settle down, relax and de-stress. We had some amazing dinners at the Cottage with the local oysters and lobsters and the great micro-breweries that surround the area. Thank you for just the most wonderful stay and for making our trip worth every moment!

This IS the place if you are looking for charm, comfort, convenience while visiting Maine.
Located just 1/2 block from the harbor, this serene three bedroom, two bath cottage offers travelers a unique experience. Explore the wonderful gardens and architecture in Wiscasset, shop for antiques, and then walk to the best local eating/drinking establishments. Centrally located, this cottage couldn't be in a more perfect location for day trips along the scenic coast of Maine and New Hampshire. If you love vacations that allow you to go at your own pace, you will love staying at this cottage. The crisp bed linens scented by lavender sachets and the fabulous Marsten House soap were two of our favorites. If you are looking for the true charm of Coastal Maine, you will not be disappointed in your stay in Wiscasset at the Marston House Cottage. CHARM....CHARM....CHARM!
